Band competition is Krill from NSW!
Krlll is a five piece new-wave indie pop band with all members originating from the small town of Yeppoon in Central Queensland. They moved to Sydney and became Krill - a small fish in a big sea. Krill mould the sounds of indie-pop with guitar rock and have more than a passing fascination with the sounds of the synth-pop pioneers of the early 80s.
Krill have been voted as your favourite band from 5 state finalists and have won a 2 day workshop with Bill Page from Mushroom Music. Bill is one one of Australia's music industry leaders and will provide them with direction on song-writing, insights into the structure and style of their songs and how they can take shape in the recording studio environment.
